I went bowling this weekend and got "bowled over" twice. First, because 22 of us had such fun bowling that the owners of the lanes asked us to come back and bring our enthusiasm with us.
Second, as of yesterday, I sold an amazing 12 lamps and 10 other pieces in the last 30 days! My biggest supporter, Abby, who owns Palladin Design in Ridgway, CO is a one-woman art placement machine. She is like the sister I never had, my business confidant and a cheerleader all rolled into one. Her passion for supporting local artists shows in all she does. In fact, if you have a moment, check out the Palladin website to see some of the local artists with which I am privileged to be displayed.*
Here are some of the lamps and a side view of the mirror that sold.
Thanks so much.

I have a great customer via etsy.com. Her name's Bonnie and she's purchased several of my Aspen Blessing Sticks -- hiking/walking sticks. She has written such inspiring comments about the sticks and where she's been using them. She me the okay to publish her comments so you can see for yourself!
"Dear Dave: It is like Christmas in our house this afternoon. Your BEAUTIFUL walking sticks arrived about an hour ago and I am truly in awe at their beauty and your amazing talent! Each one is a work of art and will be treasured by each of us for our lifetime. Thank you, more than words can express! Finally, I thought you would like to know that your beautiful creations will be "christened" next week in our beautiful and favorite Yosemite National Park. We will be spending two weeks there and we all know your incredible walking sticks will take us places we have never been before! Thank you, with all my (our) heart for sharing your incredible talent with us! The one pictured at left is mine and I am so in love with it!! I can't stop feeling it and reading the beautiful words that I feel were written just for me! Thank you so very much for sharing your amazing talent with us and please know that the sticks will be treasured always by each one of us! Bonnie"

110 people attended the opening at the Ridgway Library on September 10. I was humbled and honored by the number of guests that came and the kind words said about my work. Thanks to all of you who purchased pieces. I'm back at work making some new lamps that will be better than ever.
Thought you'd like to see the poster...Char did a great job ;).
